Fans Compete for Chance to Attempt a Game Day Field Goal to Win $10,000 and Score an Additional $10,000 Donation for a School of the Winner’s Choice

Who:

  • Cody Parker Philadelphia Eagles kicker
  • More than 40 Eagles fans pre-selected to participate in the “Santander Field Goal Challenge” try outs
  • Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders
  • Angela Moultrie, Santander VP and Regional President for New Jersey Central and Pennsylvania

What:
More than 40 Philadelphia Eagles fans will vie for a football fan’s dream prize: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attempt a field goal from the 20 yard line during halftime at the Eagles’ November 22 home game against Tampa Bay.

To make the cut, the amateur kickers will step onto the turf in the Field House at the NovaCare Complex, the Eagles’ official training facility, for the “Santander Field Goal Challenge” try outs. Those fans, who won the exclusive right to take part by correctly answering trivia questions about Eagles alumni as part of Santander Bank, N.A.’s online contest in partnership with the NFL team this fall, will attempt to convert successful field goals from increasing distances until one finalist remains.

A successful conversion on November 22 will net a $10,000 prize. An additional $10,000 will be donated to the regional K-12 school of the winner’s choice, both courtesy of Santander, the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles.

When:
Thursday, November 5, 2015
Media check in at 5:30 p.m
Competition begins at 6 p.m.

Where:
The Fieldhouse at NovaCare Complex
One NovaCare Way, Philadelphia, PA, 19145

Why:
Great visuals of Eagles fans putting their talent to the test and competing against one another for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as well as a good cause. The “Santander Field Goal Challenge” presents a unique experience for diehard Eagles fans with the team as well as a way for Santander to continue to extend its community engagement and support of local education.
