“I am looking forward to playing in Boston at the iconic Paradise Rock Club with some legendary, big hearted baseball and music people at Hot Stove Cool Music for their first live show in two years. There is nothing better than joining great people, to have as much fun as possible and do as much good as possible,” said Rzeznik. “Supporting Theo & Paul’s Foundation To Be Named Later and the kids they serve by playing music with this talented team will be a highlight for me.”

The event will include live and silent auction, featuring music memorabilia and priceless entertainment experiences.

“After two years of virtual concerts that brought together some of music and baseball’s biggest stars, the excitement to return to the Paradise for live music is lifting us all up,” Gammons said. “We look forward to seeing everyone in April as we celebrate music, baseball and giving in true Hot Stove Cool Music fashion with an all-star lineup.”

Hot Stove Cool Music is the signature fundraising event for FTBNL. It has raised more than $13.5 million since Paul and Theo Epstein founded FTBNL in 2005.  With the belief that a college education has the power to change the trajectory of a family’s life, the FTBNL’s signature program – The Peter Gammons College Scholarship – has invested in 200 young people who have overcome tremendous challenges and demonstrated a proven commitment to community service by sending them to the college of their choice. Each Gammons scholar receives a tuition gap scholarship, a mentor, leadership trainings and a plan for success.  FTBNL also supports innovative nonprofit partners in Boston and Chicago who are changing lives in underserved neighborhoods. To date, more than 400 nonprofits have received millions of dollars in FTBNL grants, including: The BASE, City Year, Chicago Children’s Choir, Common Ground Foundation, Beacon Academy, West End House Boys and Girls Club, Roxbury Youthworks, Zumix, College Possible, Project 351, Songwriters Of North America (SONA) Songwriter Fund and many others.

All proceeds from the evening benefit Foundation To Be Named Later. Hot Stove Cool Music is presented by Iron Mountain Entertainment Services, DraftKings, Cincoro and sponsored by a&g, Athletes on the Move, BCBS MA, Baseball Fantasy Camp For Kids Elevate, First Republic, Foxfield, Greenberg Traurig, Harpoon Brewery, Hotel Commonwealth, Hope Family Vineyards, Karyopharm, Mintz Levin, Paradise Rock Club, PNC, Rubin & Rudman, Takeada, The Boston Foundation, Walmart and QDivision.
